Story & Photos By George Reaves

The show at Norwalk was the largest I have seen in seven years, there were over 700 cars in the show and race. From the newest to the oldest from the rare to the common they were all there to enjoy and envy, and yes there were quite a few I wanted to bring home. DAPA was well represented with the Patterson’s, the Davies’s, and all the Reaves’s. Bob and Betty met David, my son, and I in Memphis and we went the rest of the way together with a stop over at the Corvette museum in Bowling Green, KY. There was a Vette I wanted too, oh well to many cars to little trailer. The races went well for all of us. On Saturday Shawn, Thom, David, Martin, the Baton Rouge connection, and Bob all got through the first round, then the wheels fell of the train. Bob was our redeemer that day with the most rounds. Sunday it all went Martin’s way with a runner up in his class. He may not be DAPA but he has been a supporter of DAPA for all of the PSN events and raced with us in a lot of other events here and around the country. This was Bob’s first Norwalk and I think he will tell you to go. It is one of the best run and biggest PONTIAC shows in the USA, try it you will like it.
